Your cool, casual, chic go-to slouch bag for when you need to carry pretty much everything with you for a full day out. Pops of dusky pink from the interior peek out when you look from above adding a whole new element to it. Its fun, over-sized form with sisal detailing is inspired by the large woven sacks that are used in Kenya by women fondly known as Mama Mboga that go door-to-door to sell fresh fruits and vegetables.

Materials & Components

  • Exterior crafted with Deadstock Cotton Canvas
  • Interior lined with viscose offcuts (Kenya)
  • 100% Handloom-woven sisal panel (grown & woven in Kenya)
  • Upcycled brass hardware: slider & D rings (Kenya)
  • Gold-teeth main entry zipper with recycled polyester tape (Switzerland)

Sometimes we cannot be certain where a material originated. This is because where we sourced it from may not have kept records of it. Where we can be sure, we have marked it. In most cases, multiple countries are involved. For example, a fabric may have grown in one country, milled in another, and cut somewhere else. We have written where the last process was carried out. For example, the dry-waxed canvas was milled in Scotland, and the inner lining offcuts are from a production activity carried out in Kenya.

Features

  • Worn either cross-body or over the shoulder
  • Adjustable shoulder strap, lightly padded for ultimate comfort
  • Zipped main body, zipper tape made from recycled polyester
  • Outer zipped pocket
  • Interior is divided into two compartments. Cushioned wall
  • Fits a 15" laptop
  • Lined interior, quilted. Contrast with viscose and canvas.
  • Mini pocket inside
  • Reinforced base
  • Handmade brass slider and D-rings
  • Handmade brass emblem with golden beads detailing
  • Dimensions: 30cm height, 46cm upper length, 38cm lower length, 14cm width

Weight: 0.91kg

Cleaning & Care Advice

To remove any stains, gently dab with a moist cloth. Leave to air dry. Sisal is a sturdy material but may sometimes crease if not stored well. To rectify this, make the creased area slightly wet and flatten it out. Leave to air dry. Iron out any creases on the canvas using a low heat.

DO NOT steam the bag

DO NOT put the bag in a washing machine
